  We strongly believe in team missions. In Acts Paul always church planted with a fluid team and we desire to emulate the New Testament way of missions. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 also talks about how two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. It goes on to say that a "threefold cord is not quickly broken." This team is composed of 4 couples who have ministered together at Heritage Hills Baptist Church in Winston Salem and have a burden for the Dominican Republic. 

For our first term on the mission field all four couples were working in the same church in Puerto Plata, DR. As the ministry began to grow there was less need for 4 families in the same church and so Faria and Bell Families moved to La Vega DR to plant a second church there. We (DeWalds) remain with the Pittman family in Puerto Plata.
